Mercury-Neptune opposition: Are we being fooled? Because with a hard aspect to Neptune, unfortunately most of the time, it’s the negative side of Neptune which is experienced. It’s a realisation because we are/were not seeing everything clearly, maybe in a marketplace (in Pisces), or are we believing the right thing? Is the dream that we are chasing and thinking to make real going to materialize? We are pulled in two different directions because in one way we think that we have all the facts – that we have a clear plan – that we know who to talk – that we know who to associate with – what to purchase – how much it is going to cost, we have gathered all the facts, we have done our information research. Although we have to have faith, there is something unknown about our plan, we are pulled in two opposite directions, are we seeing all the details clearly?
We have all the facts and if something shady comes from Neptune then it is out of our control (Neptune effects are often seen after the fact). So the advice, is that we have to trust our intuition, have faith, and follow our inspiration although we have this plan overshadowed by a huge fog, is it a fantasy, a lie, an illusion of our imagination, or a self deception, all it’s for sure is there is a lack of clarity but following the power of your imagination, intuitive thinking, vision and compassionate understanding can also bring a beneficial presentiment of coming events.
Disappointment? Neptune shows us the best of how something could be, it opens our imagination and when we feel inspired when we romanticise something or someone; this in itself can take us further… it can make us try to reach out for more… for better… With Neptune if we enjoy the dreaming state in the present, without too many expectations then the morning after doesn’t have to be such a harsh hangover. Sometimes after Neptune, there is still a remaining piece of dreams we can keep with us. Not all but some of the dreams can be made real.
So, how much are we willing to sacrifice (Neptune-the Hanged Man tarot card, subconscious, martyrdom), for our plan to work? This can also be that we are pulled in two directions because we can also look at the facts that are supporting us, and also our intuition might be pulling us into another direction.
So, when Mercury is going to oppose Neptune, our plan is going to reveal some unseen factors. Maybe we’re going to realise that we’ve not seen all the facts.
